About Us

Gerald founded Landscape Associates in 1990. Landscape Associates is regarded as the best landscape company in northeast Wisconsin. Gerald has a degree in Horticulture and 35 years of experience in Landscape design and maintenance. Gerald participates in the design and supervises the landscape construction department. Gerald currently serves on the Neenah Plan Commission, Landmarks Commission and is currently President of the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association. He is also a volunteer at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Gerald is repeatedly sought to teach courses and lead seminars at FVTC, UW-Madison, NWTC career centers and industry associations throughout Wisconsin.

John joined Landscape Associates in 2008. He has been working in the landscaping profession for over 40 years in the field of construction, supervision and landscape design. For the last 35 years John has been designing in Northeast Wisconsin with extensive experience covering planting, hardscape and garden structures, water features and retaining walls. As a designer for Landscape Associates, John has worked on all size projects with a special emphasis on quality residential projects. John continues to expand his design portfolio with CAD designs, color rendering and 3D modeling. With his hands on approach, john is involved in all aspects with his clients, from concept/design to material/plant selection and construction supervision. In his free time John is caring for his own personal landscape and has an extensive perennial collection, He also enjoys touring regional gardens and parks.

Tyler joined Landscape Associates in 2006. He has over 20 years of customer service and over 30 years of sales, retailing, plantings and fine gardening skills. Tyler enjoys hunting, fishing and outdoor activities with his family.

Christopher Torrez has been with Landscape Associates for nearly two years.  Chris specializes in fertilization and weed control. When he isn’t at work, Chris enjoys spending his time with his daughter at home.

Josh was educated in Denver and has a two year degree in Food Service Management.

He started at Landscape Associates as a crew member and very quickly advanced to a foreman position. Josh has 10 years of experience managing restaurant and craft beer sales plus 10 years of part-time landscaping work. Josh seized the opportunity to step into a leadership role at Landscape Associates’ Neenah operations and has been very effective in that role!

Silvano has worked for Landscape Associates since 2004 in the construction division. He loves the challenges of the work and tackling projects that are unique.  Although, the people he works with are his favorite part of the job. Silvano likes to spend time with his family in his free time and enjoys playing basketball, soccer, and football with friends and family.

Sara joined Landscape Associates in 2016. Sara is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where she received a bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology and Mycology with a minor in Environmental Sciences.  Sara has over 15 years of experience in landscaping and garden sales and 8 years of management experience.  In her free time Sara enjoys spending time with her three kids on their hobby farm in rural Tisch Mills.

Jesse has been with Landscape Associates since 2019. He attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he studied Landscape Architecture. Jesse is an avid gardener, enjoys golfing, and hunting for bargains. His passion for design, creativity and enthusiasm for unique plants makes him an asset to our design team.

Bobby has been at Landscape Associates for several years now.  He loves that his position enables him to be outside and work on different projects. Aside from working, Bobby enjoys sports,  fishing and spending time with his family.

Carolee is a valuable member of our maintenance team with a focus on planting annual and perennial flowers that add color and vibrance to the properties we maintain and bring joy to the customers we serve. We’re grateful for the awesome work Carolee performs and we’re glad she’s a part of the team!

Katie Derenne joined Landscape Associates in 2021. Katie comes to the company with over 15 years of bookkeeping experience along with 10 years of management experience. She enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters, painting barn quilts, hunting and fishing.
