  • Fertilize perennials with slow-release fertilizer

  • Test irrigation systems; make sure all zones & heads are operating properly

  • Check outdoor lighting; replace bulbs as needed

  • Aerate and fertilize the lawn; crabgrass control should be applied when Lilacs bloom

  • Prepare annual beds & amend the soil with compost, worm castings & slow-release fertilizer

  • Clean & fill water features

  • Remove declined flower heads from spring blooming bulbs; let leaves decline naturally
